“I’m a creator, a storyteller, an artist…”

Hi, I’m Cara — I’m a creator of all things digital art and design. You name it, I’ve most likely designed it, photographed it, sent it to print. I’m a graphic designer and photographer… the artist you want helping you with image and brand identity, or the one to photograph your family walking along the beach at golden hour.

Proudly, I was born and raised in the Baltimore area. Currently I’m based out of Annapolis, Maryland, which is deemed the “sailing capital of the world.” My favorite thing in life is time spent with my toes in the sand, watching my family play at the beach. I binge on coffee and ’90s alternative rock, and I also consider myself a Photoshop addict.

Art and photography have always been a passion of mine since I can remember. When I was 5 years old, I used to carry around my hot pink 110 film SLR camera in my back pocket because I loved the idea of making time stand still with just the click of a shutter. I had a love for PRISMA markers over baby dolls and walked around with a 2” sketch book instead of the “latest” toy.

After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, the early years of my career were spent as a graphic designer and product photographer. I’ve worked for some pretty cool advertising and design agencies since 2005, one of them being directly affiliated with a popular beverage company that many of us have come to love over the decades. I’m grateful for the opportunity to finally be working as both a graphic designer and photographer under my own creative brand. The promise I make to all of my clients is to provide the utmost professional, yet easygoing experience possible. I will make the process feel fun and worth it. I promise to my clients that I will give my best creative effort to deliver a unique final product that one can be ecstatic and proud of, for years to come.

What I love to create…

Photography of people, products, businesses, and nature; Creative composites in Photoshop; Digital retouching and photo restoration of antique images; Perplexing Photoshop requests in between.

Logos, brand & image identity, environmental design, posters, magazine ads, mailers, point-of-sale signs, stationary, and web graphics. Printable graphics for large-format advertising such as truck wraps, magnets, banners, wall/window decals; anything that can be sent to print. I also teach one-on-one lessons in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
